infrared : These are photos that I've taken with my 400D or 5DmkI or II and the Hoya-R72 infrared filter. They're mostly long exposure shots as the R72 is not a hot filter replacement. And I now have an R-72 filter for both my 50mm f/1.8 and new 50mm f/1.4 [which also fits my 100mm f/2.8 macro].

1980 Round the World Trip : My Mum and Dad shot these images of my family in various places around the globe in 1980. I was 6 years old and turned 7 in France. It was a great trip and a stunning achievement in wrangling and logistics at that time. Not to mention what it cost! We saw and experienced many amazing things and I kind of think of it as my OE [Overseas Experience] that I didn't have when I was 18. I can't remember a lot now though!

retrospective : These are black and white mural prints from my graduating year at Otago Polytech School of Art. They are approximately 1 metre square each. I created the imagery with an Amiga 4000 using 'Imagine' [3D software] and output the resulting renders to a line-film style negative [newspaper halftone]. Then, using a custom built enlarger, threw the images up onto the paper on the wall. I used large PVC piping to develop and stop the photos once exposed. They were exhibited in 1995 in Dunedin, and have been on one or two walls since.
